Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 28, 2026

1. Information We Collect

When you use Dome, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, company name, and billing information. We also automatically collect certain data about your usage of our platform, including chatbot conversations, lead data, integration metadata, and analytics on campaign performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve our platform, to process transactions, to communicate with you about your account, to provide customer support, and to enforce our Terms of Service. We may also use aggregated, de-identified data to improve product features and models.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your personal data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics) under strict confidentiality agreements and only to the extent necessary to provide the service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Cross‑border Transfers

Some processing and storage occurs outside Australia (for example, in the United States) where our subprocessors operate. Where personal data is transferred offshore we will take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection (for example, contractual safeguards, vendor assessments, or customer consent) in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

5. Data Security & Breach Notification

Dome implements industry-standard security measures such as TLS for data in transit and AES-256 for data at rest, access controls, logging, and regular security assessments. In the event of an eligible data breach, we will take steps required by the Privacy Act and the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme, including notifying affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) where required.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the services, meet legal obligations, or as otherwise permitted under the Privacy Act. Chatbot conversation data retention is typically configurable by customers; by default, conversation logs are retained for 90 days after account termination unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Your Rights (Australia)

If you are in Australia, you have rights under the Privacy Act and the APPs, including the right to access and correct your personal information, to complain about suspected breaches, and to request deletion or portability of your data where applicable. To exercise these rights, contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@dome.ai. If you remain dissatisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC): https://www.oaic.gov.au/.
